Most people get Labor Day off. I worked. Come to think of it, I probably worked it most of my life. You see, as a zookeeper, you typically work all the holidays. Animals still need to eat whether it's Christmas, Labor Day or any other day of the year.
As with most other holidays, does anyone even pay attention to the true meaning of them anymore? It's really just a day off and a day to eat and drink. So, it's up to me to bring the history and true meaning of the day to you. Follow the links to find out what Labor Day is all about. Enjoy the day, but appreciate what it is truly about.
If you find that you need help with your daily needs - or your family members do, please consider contacting Seniors Helping Seniors ® in home care. We work Labor Day and all other holidays when needed. You can reach us at firstname.lastname@example.org or 623-748-9854.
Happy holidays from Seniors Helping Seniors.
